Atlanta Real Estate’s sought after suburbs
Located in the North Georgia region, Atlanta is a short distance to the beaches, mountains, and lakes. Most real estate investors and other people that relocate from out of state start searching for Atlanta real estate first. A good amount of them wind up settling down and purchasing homes in the North Atlanta Metro suburbs.
The great suburbs of Atlanta have much more to offer than down-town living. Great schools, dining, and entertainment have all spread to the suburban Atlanta over the years. Woodstock, Georgia is located just south of Canton in the same county of Cherokee. With a larger population and and higher density, some places of Woodstock are actually considered urban. This is another great city for families with its unlimited possibilities of recreation, shopping, and other entertainment. One of the largest Baptist churches in the southeastern part of the US is located in Woodstock. Woodstock homes for sale range from the 150 to 2 million plus range. There are a good mix of town-homes and starter homes at any given time on the market also. Woodstock has also been one of Atlanta real estate’s top performers over the last few years.
Canton, Georgia sits nestled approximately 40 miles north of downtown Atlanta in the center of Cherokee County. This city boasts breathtaking view of the Blue Ridge Mountains to it’s north. Homes in Canton range from 150k all the way to 1 million. Recently it has become a popular place for out of state buyers and other suburban Atlantans looking for a newer home. Canton homes have done very well in the Atlanta real estate scene over the last few years and is expected to continue that trend.
