- Little Italia Atlanta (Slice of Italy in Atlanta with everything from beloved Antico Pizza to gelato and pastries. Located at Ethel St and Hemphill Ave.)
- Staff favorites for food, booze, and games – Twain’s Brewpub & Billiards, and Ormsby’s
- “Shoot the hooch” – Because everyone should float down the Chattahoochee at least once in their life. Most of us do it at least once a summer. It’s super fun in a group! You can tie all of your tubes together. TIPS – Rent at least one paddle per group AND don’t pack anything you wouldn’t mind losing in the river. So basically, leave the expensive flip-flops and sunglasses at home and buy a $5 pair. Bring food, drinks, sunscreen, music…and tie everything to a tube. You’ll have to rent an extra tube if you bring a cooler/backpack. Check out “RiverTubing.com” – that’s where I go because the water is usually cleaner. Feel free to google, there are other places that are closer.
